Synergies between radio and gravitational wave observations

The advanced Virgo and LIGO gravitational wave detectors will start to
collect data in 2015, and their sensitivity will improve over the
following years. At that time the different SKA precursors will start
their radio observations. I will discuss the synergies between these
two types of observatories, and cover two aspects: transient
astrophysical events, such as produced by the coalescence of two
neutron stars, and pulsars.
